Modifying DMEE File Extension using Events (after end of the file processing)

Hello Experts,

I have a requirement from PI team to add an extension to DMEE files once processing finished.

With that extension they will pick only files which are processed and avoid picking files which are still in process.

I guess that I can modify the file extension throw Events and I found that function module of Event 21 can do this.

My question is:

Can I call my Z Function Module of event 21 at the end of the file processing? (and after all other events are finished)

If yes then how can I do it?
