how to maintain the long text (char 1000) using custom container?

Hi guys

i got the requirement for maintaining the long text in a single  screen having nearly eight containers , each one have to maintain the char 1000.

i cannot update the custom table because it is not accepting more than 4000 character length.

so that i want to maintain the text using Text-Id for custom container , any one kindly suggest me how to go forward?
