Barcode Zebra print

Hello Experts,

I need to print a barcode with two code (material code and batch number) separated by a character. When I'll read the barcode I'd like that the two codes will be splitted on two different fields. Can I use a special character to do this? I try to use the tabulator character but it doesn't work.
