Icon is not displayed When using * in Select Options Input..

Hi,

        I have a issue like in the Selection Screen of the Report when I enter the input with star in the select options and press enter generally a icon is displayed beside it as

But the issue is one of  my reports with the same input if I press Enter it shows

                                    Where it Shows Slect : Include Pattern

                                             @28/Qselect: Include Pattern@

Is there anything I can change to avoid this

Pls Suggest...
