What impact does removing a material assignment have on the routings?
Does it delete the routings the matterial assignment is linked with (even if there are other material assignments sharing the routing)?
As i understand (from SAP HELP),
You can link routings and the material to be produced in the following ways
- A routing can be used to produce several materials (for example red and green chairs).
- Material and routing can belong to different plants, for example the planning plant and the production plant must not be the same.
- A material can be produced with different routings. The different routings can be from different plants.
So if i go to CA02 and remove the red chair assignment from material assignment of the routing will it take away routing(or comp allocation) linked with it even if the green chair shares those routing (Comp allocation)?
