I have a customer who wants to have the following process automated:
1. Go in MM01, enter a material number, go into classification tab
2. Enter a class (always the same: "SPCL_DRILL") and press enter
3. Enter values for the characteristics description that comes up when you press enter (see image)
I have found some BAPIs related to classifications such as BAPI_CHARACT_CHANGE or BAPI_OBJCL_CHANGE. However I can't figure out how to change the values after the characteristics description with these BAPIs. He wants to have the three values in the picture (always these same three values) created for a specific material number for the SPCL_DRILL class. However, I cannot figure out which BAPI to use to create it and change its values. When I look in tables like AUSP, I see no mention of "SPCL_DRILL" even after creating a material with it. Where is that information stored?
So how do I create a new material classification with SPCL_DRILL and then change the 3 indicated values. I'm pretty sure I am missing something obvious here, but I can't quite figure it out.
